Timing
I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance as this ensures your spot on the calendar is reserved. For a manuscript up to 100k, turnaround is typically 2-3 weeks, but I strive to be flexible, so if you have a question or a rush job, let’s chat!
Payment Terms
$150 nonrefundable deposit due at the time of booking. As the total cost of the edit is based on word count, you will be invoiced 50% of the total due (less the $150 deposit) at the time the manuscript is delivered. The final 50% payment will be due upon completion and must be paid before the edited manuscript is returned.
Multi-Service Discount
In need of more than one service? I offer a 10% discount on all multi-service bookings.
Editing Process
All manuscripts should be delivered in MS Word. (If you write in another program such as Scrivener, please convert the file before submitting.) Edits will be completed in MS Word using track changes and will be based on Merriam-Webster online and the Chicago Manual of Style, 18th ed.

AI Policy
I am against the use of generative AI, and I do not accept projects written with AI as it has no place in the creative arts. You can rest assured that your manuscript will not be edited with AI or fed to an LLM.
